Mr. Smith joined Aurizon Mines Ltd. in 1985 and resigned in 1998 from the position of vice-president of exploration. Mr. Smith is the co-founder of True North Gems, the company that is exploring and developing the first significant emerald and sapphire deposits in the Yukon. | Mr. Randy V.J. Smallwood, P.Eng Position: Independent Director Mr. Smallwood, P.Eng., is currently President of Silver Wheaton Corp. He is one of the founding members of Silver Wheaton, and in 2007 joined Silver Wheaton full time as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, primarily focusing on growing the company through the evaluation and acquisition of silver stream opportunities. In January 2010 he was appointed President of Silver Wheaton, with a continued focus on corporate growth opportunities. Randy originally started as an exploration geologist in 1993 with Wheaton River Minerals Ltd., and in 2001 was promoted to Director of Project Development, his role through its 2005 merger with Goldcorp. Randy was an instrumental part of the team that built Wheaton River / Goldcorp into one of the largest, and more importantly most profitable gold companies in the world, and through the last ten years has been involved in several billions of dollars worth of growth activities, both through M&A or organic methods. Mr. Smallwood holds a geological engineering degree from the University of British Columbia and a Mine Engineering Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. | Mr. Brian Lock Position: Director Mr. Lock is currently the executive vice-president, Frontier Pacific Mining Corp. Mr. Lock has over 30 years of experience in the operations, feasibility, design engineering and construction of numerous precious metals and base metal mining projects around the world. Initially Mr. Lock held senior positions with a major international mining consortium and two major engineering companies, before, in 1985 forming and becoming president of Proton International Engineering Corp., a Canadian engineering and construction company devoted to the development of small- and medium-sized mining projects. | Dr. Jingbin Wang, Ph. D. Geology Position: Chairman and Director Dr. Jingbin Wang is currently President of Sinotex Mineral Exploration Co., Ltd. He is a leader in the non-ferrous metals industry in China as an expert in mineral exploration and mining with 24 years experience. He has been granted the title of National Youth Expert for Outstanding Contribution in China for his great success in prospecting results and scientific research. In addition, he is the Chief Scientist of National 973 Program. He has a wealth of experience in over 20 years' mineral exploration and mining operation as well as scienctific research. As a Professional Geologist, he is well-known in the industry of non-ferrous metals industry in China for his achievements in prospecting prognosis, remote sensing geology and mathematical geology. He has won the first and second National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology four times. | Mr. Chaoxian Zhou, M.Sc. Position: Deputy General Manager, Officer Mr. Zhou graduated from Jilin University with B.Eng. and Chinese Academy of Sciences with MSc, and was a PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis. He has 10 years of experience in base and precious metal resource, oil and gas exploration in Zijin Mining, China National Offshore Oil Company and others. Mr. Zhou has planned, directed and participated exploration projects and mining geology in Zijin with successful results including finding a Zn-Pb-sulfur ore deposit with 3.28 million tons Zn+Pb metal reserve & resource, besides evaluating many ore deposits.
